  • There is a charge of $20 for each session to be paid by the Client to the School

  • GAFEE understands that some students live out of town and travel to class, which may make it difficult to secure clients for clinical sessions

  • GAFEE does have a list of people we can contact to try and fill in these gaps

  • Students are asked to make every reasonable effort to secure their own clinical clients, as this experience can also help them begin developing confidence in communicating with prospective clients and building a future practice

  • Specific details for Clinicals will be given on the first day of RM class

LOCAL LICENSING & REGISTRATION:
Licensing and registration requirements for relaxation massage practitioners vary by jurisdiction. Some Ohio cities and local governments may offer a masseur/masseuse, massage practitioner, or similar local registration or license for individuals practicing within the permitted scope, while other jurisdictions may have different requirements or may limit massage practice to Ohio Licensed Massage Therapists. Graduates are responsible for determining and complying with all applicable state and local laws, licensing requirements, registration requirements, scope-of-practice limitations, business regulations, and background-check requirements where they intend to practice. GAFEE provides graduates with resources to assist them in researching applicable local requirements.
