Overview: Polarity Reflexology (PR) is an energy-based approach to reflexology founded on the theories and principles of Polarity Therapy. It combines traditional reflexology concepts with an understanding of the Five Elements, energetic anatomy, and the patterns of energy that exist throughout the body.
Through focused work on the feet, students learn to identify and work with reflex areas associated with organs, body systems, and energetic patterns. Polarity Reflexology expands upon traditional reflexology by incorporating the Five Elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether—and exploring how these elemental principles are reflected within the feet and throughout the body.
Students develop an understanding of the relationship between the physical and energetic aspects of the body while learning practical techniques designed to support relaxation, balance, and the body's natural self-regulating processes.
Throughout the course, students learn foot anatomy and body mechanics, elemental assessment, Polarity Exercises, specific reflexology techniques and protocols, and how to integrate this knowledge into individualized sessions. Hands-on practice and clinical experiences help students develop confidence, observation skills, and the ability to work effectively and professionally with clients.
Polarity Reflexology offers a unique way to explore the whole person through the feet—integrating physical anatomy, energetic principles, and the Five Elements into a comprehensive approach to reflexology.

Supervised Clinical Practice — Six Client Sessions Required
Students complete six supervised clinical client sessions during the course.
Clinical practice is held on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th days of class, with students working with two clients on each clinical day.
Students are responsible for arranging clients for their clinical sessions. Clients may be family members, friends, or acquaintances.
Each clinical session has a $20 client fee, paid directly by the client to GAFEE.
GAFEE recognizes that students traveling from outside the area may have difficulty arranging local clients. When needed, GAFEE may assist by contacting individuals from our clinical client list; however, client availability cannot be guaranteed.
Students are encouraged to make every effort to arrange their own clinical clients. This provides valuable experience in communicating with prospective clients and beginning to develop a professional practice.
Complete clinical procedures and expectations are reviewed with students on the first day of the course.
