Jeanette Collins serves as both a Student Advisor and Faculty Member at Global Academy for Energetic Education, where she is dedicated to helping students succeed academically while inspiring them to explore the profound connection between holistic health and personal well-being. Through her compassionate approach to teaching and mentoring, she encourages students to develop both technical skills and a deeper understanding of the body's innate capacity for balance and healing.

Jeanette earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Film Studies from The Ohio State University in 2005 before pursuing advanced education in holistic health. In 2015, she graduated from the Institute of Holistic Health Careers with specialized training in Ayurvedic Elemental Polarity Reflexology, a modality that integrates reflexology with the principles of the Five Elements to support physical, emotional, and energetic balance.

Committed to lifelong learning, Jeanette has earned certifications as a Holistic Health Advisor (HHA), Holistic Health Coach, Corporate Wellness Coach, and Advanced Reiki Practitioner. She has spent more than six years practicing reflexology at The Reiki Center, where she has helped clients achieve greater wellness through individualized, holistic care.

Jeanette's passion for reflexology grew from her own personal health journey. Following a significant illness in 2004, she began searching for a holistic approach that addressed the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. During that journey, she discovered the remarkable relationship between the feet and the rest of the body through reflexology. Learning that every organ, gland, and body system could be accessed through specific reflex points sparked a lifelong fascination that ultimately became her professional calling.

Today, Jeanette believes that every individual possesses an innate ability to heal and that holistic practitioners serve as compassionate guides who help create the conditions for healing to occur. She teaches students that reflexology is more than a manual technique—it is an opportunity to restore balance, increase awareness, and support the body's natural healing processes while honoring the unique needs of every individual.

As both an instructor and Student Advisor, Jeanette is committed to fostering a welcoming, encouraging learning environment where students feel supported throughout their educational journey. Her thoughtful guidance, enthusiasm for reflexology, and dedication to whole-person wellness inspire students to develop both professional competence and a genuine passion for serving others.

Why Reflexology?

“People often ask me, ‘Why feet, why reflexology?’

I have to say, the first time I ever saw a reflexology chart and learned the fact that you could reach every bone and organ in the body through the feet, well, my mind was blown!

It would be years later that I would take the classes. I have such gratitude for all the teachers and mentors past and present.

I, like most people who are healers, truly began my holistic journey after I had become ill in 2004 and began searching for a holistic approach, treating my whole being and not just a symptom.

My own journey towards healing has also been my calling to help others.

I believe we each have the ability to heal ourselves.

I would like to think of healers as people who can hold the space/vibration for others to heal faster.

Our most deepest issues, only we can truly understand as individuals, and only we can choose our paths to get to the place of healing that many of us need.

Elemental Reflexology™ brings a way for us to feel centered, brings awareness to where our focus needs to be.

It is a way to address the emotional and physical: a way to balance our energy so that we feel better.

This type of healing also adds in diet choices and exercise that are totally optional but can help to speed up the processes of balance and healing.”
